Each section is discreetly edged in cream limestone, creating a rhythmic transition from the wilder, peripheral meadow-like borders to the more composed areas of the garden. Along this route, we have cleverly integrated a sunken trampoline—hidden enough to maintain the aesthetic calm of the garden, yet perfectly positioned for parents to supervise from the dining area, ensuring the garden remains a safe, playful domain for the children.

The Dining Pavilion: Where Modernity Meets Farmhouse Charm

 The path pauses at the heart of the social garden: a private dining sanctuary for up to 12 guests. Here, a circular cream limestone patio acts as the anchor, featuring an integrated water feature that draws from the natural swimming pool, whispering beneath the paving to provide a soothing acoustic backdrop into the child safe corten steel babbling bowl. The dining area is sheltered by an open-sided, farmhouse-style structure featuring traditional, hand-fired rusty red tiles. Adjoining this is a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and grill, framed by architectural pillars draped in evergreen climbers. It is a space designed for the cool evenings—a safe, secluded harbor that feels both grounded and high-end, utilising the same herringbone brickwork underfoot to maintain a cohesive design language.

The Orchard and Kitchen Garden: Productive Beauty 

Heading north, the garden offers a sense of bounty. A natural orchard of low-growing fruit trees provides a dual purpose: it discreetly screens the septic tank and neighboring sightlines while providing a harvest for the family and maintaining a sensible growing height avoiding interference with the power lines above. Further east, the kitchen garden is treated with a loose, informal hand; rather than rigid, geometric rows, the planting is encouraged to grow in a soft, abundant fashion, blending vegetables and herbs with ornamental flowers. This area flows seamlessly toward the utility shed, where low-bearing hedges and sweeping herbaceous borders guide you gently back toward the driveway.
