The Oxidised Garden

This landscape design proposal seeks to harmonise the raw, untamed beauty of the countryside with the sophisticated, functional needs of a multi-generational family. The vision is a ‘modern-shabby chic’ sanctuary: a space that feels lived-in and timeless, utilising a curated palette of cream, deep forest greens, and oxidised rusty reds.

The Sculpted White Garden

The garden is conceived as a carefully curated statutory journey, where soft Ivory Cream resin, tumbled limestone and architectural evergreen planting create a calm, timeless framework for the landscape. A wildflower meadow, woodland walk, sculptural water feature and secluded seating areas introduce layers of texture, movement and discovery, while resilient planting, considered lighting and framed garden art bring character and interest throughout the seasons. Beyond its beauty, the design remains deeply practical, combining shelter, privacy, biodiversity and a productive kitchen garden to create a landscape that feels both established and enduring.
